I agree with the sentiment of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ but ‘Motorizer’ is the best Motorhead album since ‘Bastards’. “Fast, stupid biker metal” is an insult to Lemmy’s sometimes insightful lyrics and although this album won’t change the world it deserves more than 3 stars and if you think Lemmy will retire in 5 years then you don’t know the man. Only his own death will stop him playing and hopefully they’ll be putting out albums when he’s 90. There is no – one else like Motorhead and never will.

This review is crap. It was written by someone who doesn’t know the Motörhead catalogue and certainly hasn’t been to more than one or two concerts – Motörhead concerts are not always ‘exactly the same’ at all. Teh setlist has undergone significant changes during the last five or so years. Furthermore, the tone here is insulting and disrespectful towards the real ‘hardest working man in showbusiness’: Ian Fraser Kilmister who has been touring for 33(!) years, incessantly delivering the goods for us who appreciate his band. The new album is – by a true fan’s standards – certainly different from ‘Inferno’ and ‘Kiss of Death’. More melodic, lots of earworm tracks that you don’t get out of your head that quickly; long live Motörhead, may Lemmy enjoy as many years on stage as possible!
