They play their istruments pretty good, ill give that to them, for an american metalcore band, but its still more focus on style over substance for this band.

nothing they have made had really been all that memorable, a lot of this stuff isnt anything special.

Not that its bad, its a decent album, but it doesnt impress me really, more of the same.

Though i think trivium dont come across as complete rip off artists this time, they have matured a bit, but they still suffer from what they always suffer from….MEDIOCRITY.

I don’t what kind of punk you’ve heard, but I can promise it wasn’t anywhere near as technical as the crusade. The songs I’ve heard so far are amazing, great vocal and awesome solos. Matt and Corey just keep getting better and better. Kirisute Gomen is the shiznit….

If it’s anything like The Crusade…which I didn’t get because of the crappy vocals and almost punky stuf…Well let’s just ssay it’s better left unsaid. But, if it’s one of those angry hungry sounding ones like the ‘05 and 03 release, we’re in business.
