Metallica are due to tour the UK’s arenas in February 2009. They haven’t done this since October 1996 so this is a pretty big deal. Support will come from the equally fantastic Machine Head and The Sword. That is heavy.
Just like the September show at London’s O2 Arena, all shows will be performed in the round and tickets go on sale on Friday October 24 2008.

Good to see another American tour making its way to these shores. I hope to be able to make this tour, Metallica and Machine Head are fantastic bands, and The Sword simply kick ass.
