Sign Iceland Thrash Hits

What was your highlight of 2008?
2008 was the year when I got the call that we were playing the Main Stage at Download. It freaked me out so much that I’m still not over it! Appearing on Kerrang’s Maiden Heaven album was more than a nice surprise.

What’s the worst thing that happened to you in 2008?
Does that matter?

Who in 2008 deserves a good kicking?
I don’t know if you follow the news but… Iceland especially Icesave and all those greedy motherfuckers fucked up my world!

Who had the best comeback: Metallica, AC/DC, or Guns N’ Roses?
G’n’R would have had a good comeback if it wasn’t for all those Chinese years… Metallica (Lars) didn’t rock my world… Not at all! So… AC/DC are the one band I can count on!

What are you most looking forward to in 2009?
I’m not looking forward to anything in particular. I wasn’t for 2008 either, but it turned out to be a great year! Sign had a great year and the music scene was amazing. The Slip (NIN) and All Hope Is Gone (Slipknot) made my year! (Musically).

What band will everyone find out about in 2009?
I haven’t got a clue! I didn’t either a year ago but I discovered some great bands. Just keep your eyes open and you’ll find everything you want!

What do you want for Christmas?
All the people that I’ve met the last year jumping out from the back of my couch screaming, “MERRY CHRISTMAS!”

Who do you want to get under the mistletoe?
I love a mistletoe. The Fuel Girls rock my world at the moment.

Where will you be on New Year’s Eve?
Reykjavik, surrounded by friends and family.
