What they’re saying
The record will sell in five formats: a songs-only download; a CD with a making-of bonus DVD; a box-set; a vinyl version; a special edition with b-sides (one of which may be a cover of State of Conviction’s ‘Convictions’, which they recorded with SoC singer Jason “J Mann” Popson).

Vocalist Mark Hunter spoke to the Cleveland Scene about the new album:

The album is a little slower than people might be expecting. It’s at this groove tempo where the whole time you can’t stop bobbing your head. There’s one song in particular I think Cleveland fans will enjoy: It’s called ‘The Heart of It All’. We’re no stranger to doing instrumental songs. As we were writing it, I kept thinking, “Wow, it sounds like Cleveland to me.” It’s long, epic.

Thrash Hits verdict
Since leaving Roadrunner Records, Chimaira have gone from strength to strength and we’re expecting that their fifth album will continue their progress and maintain the Cleveland, Ohio metallers’ status as one of the most consistent New Wave of American Heavy Metal bands. We can’t wait to hear this record.
