We think that Five Finger Death Punch are gonna be a pretty big deal, but that hasn’t stopped them releasing a bloody funny video to their new song, ‘The Bleeding’.
Since releasing their debut album, The Way Of The Fist in America 18 months ago, Five Finger Death Punch have sold 250,000 copies of it and this video is a stunning interpretation of some truly deep and meaningful lyrics.
In between sitting down and looking mournful, Ivan L Moody sings about saying goodbye and than waves his hand. THAT IS A LITERAL INTERPRETATION! But it gets better. Oh, by gum, it gets better.
When Moody (by name, really moody by nature) sings about painting the mirrors black, there’s a hot girl looking in a fucking mirror!
When he sings about the way that hot girl tastes, there’s a touching shot of them kissing. Yummy.
When he sings about roses in a glass (dead and wilted, of course), there’s a shot of some roses, and then the same roses but dead and wilted. HE IS CRUSHING THEM IN HIS HAND!!!!
Watch them on tour with Lamb Of God, Dimmu Borgir and Unearth in February on the Defenders of the Faith tour. Hopefully .
