We hinted at it earlier today, but no it’s official – Def Leppard have been confirmed as a main stage headliner for Download 2009. But they’re not the only act that’s had their place on the bill verified – so have Trivium and the reformed nu-metal posterboys, Limp Bizkit.
Of course, to any regular readers of Thrash Hits this won’t come as a surprise – we’ve been mooting the announcement of both the Bizkit and the Leppard for some time now. The news of Trivium’s confirmation is also hardly surprising – they are the golden boys of Roadrunner Records roster these days, after all. Still, it just goes to show how bang on the money our “predictions” (*cough* *cough*) have been so far.
Keep your eyes peeled and your browsers pointed at ThrashHits.com for more Download line-up announcements as and when (and sometimes before….) they happen.
