According to the folks over on Kerrang.com, there’s going to be some further line-up announcements for this year’s Download festival mae later tonight – well, at 7pm GMT to be exact.

The rumour-mill has been working overtime on this one – earlier in the week, MetalHammer.co.uk speculated that Killswitch Engage were set to be booked following a phantom-posting on the BBC Radio 1 website. We’re pretty damn sure that the Massachusetts metalcore mob will be among tonight’s confirmations….as are we are about Bring Me The Horizon being confirmed. A little bird told us that a major classic rock band from the US is also set to be announced – ZZ Top maybe? Well, we can hope, can’t we? It’ll all become clear in an hour…..
