Nine Inch Nails supremo, Trent Reznor, has been getting up to more than just his usual activities of brooding in dark rooms and plotting how he’s planning on fucking with the music industry next. He’s been re-affirming that he’s a man of good taste by putting the boot in to the latest solo album from former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman, Chris Cornell.
It was through his Twitter account that Reznor laid down judgement:
“You know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable? Heard Chris Cornell’s record? Jesus.”
Ouch – destroying a man’s record in under 140 characters is brutal. Did you know Thrash Hits is the 21st best hard rock and heavy metal Twitter’er in the world? We’re great at this internet malarky, that’s why. Follow us, if you don’t already – it’s what all the cool kids are doing.
Normally right now we’d link to a relevant video to this story – such as the god-awful video for Cornell’s equally piss-poor ‘Part Of Me’ single – but I think we’d rather have some classic NIN instead, don’t you?
