
It’s a sold out crowd at the Manchester Academy 1, and while the support act, Hot Melts, put on a strong performance, it’s clear the crowd are looking forward to tonight’s headline act.
With bras draped all over their amps & drum kit, Eagles of Death Metal swagger onto the stage to rapturous applause. Frontman Jesse Hughes is noticably taken aback, and after taking a few seconds to collect himself, the band storms into a set of their biggest songs. With a set spanning all three albums, and of course including ‘I Want You So Hard (Boys Bad News)’, the crowd never lets up – and neither do the Eagles of Death Metal.
