Five new names including Heaven and Hell added to Sonisphere Festival line-up

After much gossip, speculation and debate, another batch of names have been announced for the UK leg of the Sonisphere Festival, including Heaven and Hell as main support to Linkin Park on the Main Stage.

Heading up the new additions scheduled for the main stage are Heaven and Hell, the quite frankly awesome re-invention of the Dio-era Black Sabbath line-up. Joining them will be their US tour support – neo-prog types Coheed and Cambria, as well as the only decent band ever to come out of Utah, Bert McCracken’s post-hardcore mob The Used.

Among the many rumoured to fill that position before Linkin Park take the stage have been the recently reformed Blink 182 and No Doubt, the returning Green Day and Eminem and the off-the-scene-for-a-while-now My Chemical Romance.

Additions to the Bohemia Village Canadian include hardcore heroes Fucked Up, punk-rap hybrids Zebrahead, ska-reggae veterans Pepper, and slightly-closer-to-home alt-rock of Hundred Reasons. If not even one of the bands among this announcement tickles your fancy, then we think there must be something wrong with you.
