Thrash Hits has been online for one whole year now. We’re pretty pleased with ourselves and we’re going to be celebrating the last 12 months and the next 12 months in London tonight.

Feel free to come join us in The Crobar. The drinks will be flowing. They’re gonna be all over the place. You’re going to need to buy us a drink.

This is a video which is really just a picture of a \m/-shaped fireball with a heavy metal version of HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US

In an amazing twist of fate, this is the 666th article on the site. You really could not make it up.

While you reflect on this, take a look back at the ten most read articles on Thrash Hits. They do seem to centre around Metallica, Slipknot… and Metallica again. Oh well! We know which side our bread is buttered. (The Metallica side).

  1. Slipknot unveil their All Hope Is Gone masks
  2. We get a sneak preview listen of Metallica’s fantastic album, Death Magnetic. We write about it.
  3. Album review: Slipknot – All Hope Is Gone
  4. Album review: Trivium – Shogun
  5. Album review: Metallica – Death Magnetic
  6. Photos: Metallica @ London O2 Arena – 15 September 2008

  8. We break the news about Metallica playing Sonisphere Festival 2009

We fucking love cake as well, so bring us some cake. Do not post any cake to us. It would give a whole new meaning to, “Clogging up the letterbox.” That would be really shit.
