We’re pleased to hear that those Tennesseeian emos, Paramore are going to release their new album, brand new eyes on 29 September 2009 through Fueled By Ramen again.

Just like with their song ‘Crushcrushcrush’, they again display a casual disregard for the common rules of spellang and grammer by leaving out the capital letters. Edgy. edgy?

The youngsters – yes, sexy singer Hayley Williams is still only 20, which also makes it more ok to call her “sexy” – are unleashing the first single in July. It’s called ‘Ignorance’ and is either about a stupid boy or racists. We’re guessing.

Rob Cavallo produced it and it’ll probably sound great. We enjoyed ‘Decode’, after all, which was released as part of the soundtrack for the crappy emo vampire film, Twilight. Someone at their record label has said this about brand new eyes:

“fit to burst with all the exuberant melodies, breathless hooks, and irrepressible energy that has made the Nashville-based band one of the most popular rock outfits in recent memory.”

BLAH. BLAH. BLAH. Blahblahblah?

In September, Paramore will do an MTV Unplugged set, just like what Nirvana did before Kurt Cobain killed himself. Just saying…

Paramore – brand new eyes tracklisting
Careful
Ignorance
Playing God
Brick By Boring Brick
Turn It Off
The Only Exception
Feeling Sorry
Looking Up
Where The Lines Overlap
Misguided Ghosts
All I Wanted

They’re strange this lot. I want to hate them but after seeing The Final Riot I was bloody impressed by their performance and how down-to-Earth they are as people. They clearly enjoy what they do and are very thankful to be in the position they’re in. Good on em I say. But they seriously need to get off Fueled By Ramen and get their arses on a respectable label that isn’t full of bands who are all from the same scene and therefore sound exactly the same.

I tried to hate them but gave up because I love them so much.

This album could make them he-uge.

True, it is hard to hate Paramore.
Obviously because some of their songs are really catchy…nothing to do with the lead singer…at all.
