A couple of weeks ago, we put the word out that we were looking for Mastodon fans to submit questions for a fan question-only interview with the mighty Mastodon. Well, we took your questions and put them to Brann Dailor and Troy Sanders while they chowed down on some crumpets. The results were…..interesting to say the least.
Has the immense success of Crack The Skye changed the band at all? How many trees could Brent chop down in an hour? Why isn’t Troy coming to our birthday party? We now know the answers to all of these extremely probing questions. And who’d have thought sticksmith Brann Dailor would be such a Britney Spears fan?

Mastodon are playing the first ever UK Sonisphere Festival, taking place at Knebworth Park on August 1-2. If you haven’t already gotten your arse in gear and got yourself a ticket, now would be a very good time to do so.
