Thrash Hits has been following the burgeoning career of London-based metallers, The Defiled, since before we even had a website. In the last year alone they’ve torn Bloodstock a new set of holes, gave Hellfire Festival’s hangover a serious early afternoon wake-up call, and seen the dark side of Teutonic justice supporting Static-X across Europe.
They even shared a cup of tea Lord and Lady Lytton-Cobbold of Knebworth as a favour to the folks at Sonisphere Festival. 2009’s already been a bit of a badass year (good and bad) for the band, and their debut release isn’t even due till October. So we decided to treat them to a shandy or two down The Cro Bar for a chat about what the future holds for our favourite London five-piece.
