What’s your take on Megadeth’s Endgame?

It’s only been out a week now, but Endgame looks set to be the album that propels Megadeth back to the forefront of metallers’ minds across the globe again. Our man in Atlanta, Metal Mark, gave the album a full 6 out of 6 here on Thrash Hits, but what do you lot think about it now you’ve had a chance to give it a spin or two?

We’re not alone in our praise – Dom Lawson, scribe for Metal Hammer, our friends over at Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, and whole load of other people – describes it as “remorselessly metal from start to finish, and not in an old-guys-giving-it-a-jolly-good-go kind of way, but in a state-of-the-art, teach-those-youngsters-a-thing-or-two, come-and-have-a-go-if-you-think-you’re-metal-enough-even-though-you-don’t-stand-a-chance kind of way.” Phew.

We’ve put together yet another extremely scientic poll to work out the true measure of fan reaction to the latest long-player from Mustaine and Co. Tell us your thoughts:
