The Armed by Doug Wojciechowski Thrash Hits

It’s Friday. It’s payday. We’re gearing up for the weekend. We wish we were drunk already. You probably do too. So why not ease away the last few hours of the working week with a free download of These Are Lights, the fucking awesome debut album from The Armed?

All you’ve got to do is head over to their website, give them your email, and they’ll send over a download link for These Are Lights. They won’t even harvest your email for their mailing list or anything nefarious like that – it’s just so they can send you the link. They’ll even give it to you in a sexy lossless format if you’re that way inclined. And since it’s payday, why not make a voluntary donation to their PayPal to say thank-you while you’re at it? As soon as our cheque from The Man clears, that’s what we’re doing. Once you’ve heard this record, you’ll know why these chaps deserve your cash.

This is why this band rules:

We first heard about The Armed on Monday, when our compadrés over at Terrorizer featured them as their Band of the Day. If, like us, you get a raging hard-on for anything Dillinger Escape Plan-ish, then consider this your pre-weekend musical Viagra. ZING.

This is such a stunning record. Been listening to it on repeat over the weekend and I can’t get enough. I’ll definately be slinging some money at the band’s PayPal; they deserve it. Hope it gets a physical release as well, I’d rather own it in real life.
