You can download the new album from Gama Bomb, Tales From The Grave In Space, right now. For free. Well, actually the price is letting them know what your email address is, but unless you’re one of those conspiracy theory nuts who thinks “The Man” wants to download your brain through the Internet and the only thing that stopping him is that you’re not on his mailing list yet, then that’s hardly going to be much of a problem.

It’s a smart move on the part of both Gama Bomb and their label, Earache. Plenty of people have already gone to the trouble of explaining why this is, so we went bore you by repeating them. At the very least, it’s fair to say we might not have found the time to write anything at all about Tales From The Grave In Space had it been released via traditional methods. It’s even more probable that this album wouldn’t be getting anywhere near this amount of attention from the metal mainstream – you know who I’m talking about – even more so when you consider it is being released in the same week that World Painted Blood came out.

We’re listening to it right now. You could be too. Why aren’t you? Are you at work or something? Don’t worry, you’ll be able to download it once you get home, and then you can see what all the fuss is about.

    Downloaded it.
    Listened to it.
Bought a ticket to the London date on Sunday.
Gonna buy their merch at the gig.

That’s why promoting the album this way is a bloody good idea.

Awesome album, seen them many times and will be seeing them again in Brighton on Tuesday and doubtless buying lots of stuff.

Nice to finally see something actually thrash related on Thrash Hits! There’s far too much stuff on here about bands that aren’t even metal, let alone thrash.
