What they’re saying
In a statement released to Metal Hammer magazine last October, Bleeding Through announced their intention to put out a new album in 2010:

“Rest assured that everything is fine as far as THE BAND is concerned! We’re looking very forward to the Halloween show followed by the creation of our BRAND NEW ALBUM, which we can tell you will take place in December and January before our European tour with Machine Head, Hatebreed and All Shall Perish! That’s right, NEW Bleeding Through album in 2010.”

You gotta love an occasional burst of SUPERFLUOUS capital LETTERS. The band have also been posting sporadic video blogs from their studio sessions on their MySpace page:

Thrash Hits verdict
Declaration was easily one of the most overlooked records of 2008. Though it seemingly went over the heads of the metal scene at large, the album wound the Orange County mob’s metalcore up into a coiled spring of targeted aggression. Perhaps it was a case of a band finally finding their musical feet, or maybe it was the presence of Canadian musical uber-genius, Devin Townsend, on production duties, but in any case, it left the rest of the world’s metalcore seeming beyond tepid. If it was merely the first stepping stone on Bleeding Through’s rise to greatness, and not just a one-off fluke, then this new record could really be something.

This time around though, the band has decamped to record Planet Z Studios in Massachusetts, and hooked up with longtime Hatebreed producer, Chris “Zeuss” Harris. Whether or not ditching the experimentally-minded Townsend for the more meat’n'potatoes style of Harris’ production will produce a better end result is certainly up for debate – it might lack the finesse of a Townsend production, but it will make up for that with sheer brute force.

Wow. We’ve even managed to write an entire post about Bleeding Through without resorting to posting a gratuitous photo gallery of they keyboard player, Marta, in various states of undress.

Okay then, but just the one:
