After their large-scale shindigs in London and Birmingham last year, Hellfire Festival has announced it’s first event for 2010: The Hellfire Club. This time they’re taking over Club Revolution in Peterborough for 3 days of the first in a series of smaller-in-scale but just-as-fucking-loud events.
From Friday 7 and Sunday 9 May, The Hellfire Club will descend on Peterborough for the first of what they describe as a series of spin-off satellite events. Intended to be a mobile version of the main festival, The Hellfire Club is to concentrate on bringing more niche areas of metal to regional locations across the UK.
The Friday and Saturday will be headlined by Devil Sold His Soul and Deez Nuts respectively, and even though the Sunday night headliner has yet to be announced, we think the initial line-up is already looking pretty tidy:
Tickets go on sale at some point later today from Hellfirefestival.com. Friday-only tickets are £8, with tickets for the larger Saturday and Sunday line-ups costing £10 each. If you’re up for all three days, then a Weekend ticket will set you back £25. For a limited time only, day tickets will be on sale as part of an Early Bird promotion for just £7 and £9, with Weekend tickets priced at just £22.50. You’ve got until February 3 to reach for your wallets, as that’s when prices return to the higher rate.
