For a lot of bands, having your record label implode beneath you would be considered an event somewhere between “world-shattering fuck-up” to “band-destroying disaster”. Fightstar don’t think like that though – when their former home, Gut Records, died in 2008, they dusted themselves off, recorded a brand new album, then got back on the road. In fact, they’re touring the tits off the UK right now – hence this photo gallery.
Joining the London post-hardcore types on tour were the excellent aggro-core of Cars on Fire, and the okay-not-even-we-can-fake-THAT-much-enthusiasm-for-it wet-rock of The Xcerts.
Our resident Sheffield snapper, Gary Wolstenholme was there to capture everything on film. Well, on those digital storage things that modern cameras use. Look, we just do the words, okay? We let guys like the talented Mr Wolstenholme to do the pictures.

We will always have time for a bit of Fightstar, and will fight anyone who says they’re “not heavy enough” to be on a website like Thrash Hits. If you think that, then you’re the one with the problem. Ask yourself this: how could we not feature a band that recognises how awesome Bodean’s is? Exactly.
