It’d be all too easy to make a joke that this year’s Kerrang! Relentless Energy Tour is headlined by All Time Low. But then we got thinking: maybe the band picked that name as a pre-emptive defence mechanism? That way, if anyone mouthing off on the internet made a joke about them being rubbish, they could just laugh it off as people taking a cheap and easy shot.
Well, fuck that. Writing the above paragraph has been an All Time Low for me here at Thrash Hits. Oh, ho, ho. Stop me, my sides are splitting.
Joining the Mayland pop-punk were a trio of British wet-wipes, who together ensured the 2010 Kerrang! Relentless Tour’s status as the most aggravating photo gallery we’ve ever published. The Blackout took second from top billing, and we suppose they at least have the somewhat-dubious claim of being the least rubbish band on the bill. The beyond-forgettable Young Guns, and the lamentable My Passion – the only band we turned down for an interview at Download Festival 2009 – complete this retinue of shame.
Luckily, our photographer Gary Wolstenholme was on the case. Gary can make even these chumps look pretty sweet thanks to his mighty photographic skills.

Please feel free to direct your ire at the spiteful prose above in the comments section below. We’ll be sure to take note of all your badly punctuated abuse and have a good laugh about it down the pub later.

The standard of journalism on this site is breathtaking. Quite how you’ve managed to gather together such a dazzling array of perceptive, knowledgable and incisive music critics beggars belief. This is another Pulitzer-worthy critique. Bravo Thrash Hits!

Don’t like it, don’t read it. I for one think the writers at Thrash Hits are some of the best online. They clearly enjoy what they do and after all, it is THEIR site so they can publish whatever the fuck they want. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this recent pop-punk explosion is just an excuse for a load of half-arsed acts to jump on the bandwagon for their 10 seconds of fame.

I agree – and i’m glad ThrashHits said it like it is! None of this following the trend nonsense

I had actually forgotten about turning My Passion down at Download Fest. I get the feeling that decision has not hindered their progress at all. Sad fucking times.
