Twisted Sister are ridiculous. You know this. We know this. Dee Snider knows this, and it’s his bloody band. They are, however, ridiculous for all the right reasons, which is why we’re pleased as punch that they’ve been announced as the final Main Stage headliner for Bloodstock Open Air 2010.

Also joining the old men in make-up in today’s line-up announcement are Teutonic power metallers, Edguy, and the Finnish Viking mob that is Ensiferum. You can say what you like about Bloodstock, but their line-up announcements not only feature bands the other metal fests are scared to go near, but also genuinely cover the whole spectrum of metal a the same time. Bloodstock Open Air: reaching the parts that other festivals can’t reach.
