Download Festival 2010: Interviews, Photos, Setlists, Gossip – it’s all here

Ha ha! The Thrash Hits Download Festival splash page is back! Every last scrap of our Download Festival 2010 coverage from the weekend will be linked to from here, so give it a bookmark or just don’t close it, because it’s all you’ll need. Individual band coverage (interviews, photos, setlists and some tiny reviews), rumours and gossip, drinking games, stage times, dodgy photos of as many fit girls wrestling in the mud as we can legitimately publish? It’s all here.

We’ll be up to all our usual tricks, so expect all of the best rumours and gossip from the festival –  we’re sure we’ll pick up some juicy nuggets for you. You can get the stage times and stuff here. Although, if you’re on a computer and not at the festival, I don’t know why you’d possibly want them.

Dave Grohl watching Taylor Hawkins and he is NOT happy!

  • Friday: Interestingly, Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders is the only band we needed a photographer release form for. Taylor’s Foo Fighters bandmate, Dave Grohl is playing with Them Crooked Vultures today as well…
  • AC/DC have got their own stage… next to the Main Stage but they never actually thought that the Download organisers would agree to their excessive demands. Proof that you don’t get if you don’t ask!
  • Bullet For My Valentine – who are technically headlining Friday @ Download Festival – have, contrary to popular belief, never ever fed anyone’s fever. They refused to feed ours, anyway. Our fever is still hungry!
  • Trigger The Bloodshed are so dedicated to their name that singer Jonny Burgan had a nosebleed LIVE ONSTAGE. He triggered the bloodshed with a HEADBANG. That’s metal, folks.
  • Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon was spotted walking around wearing a hoody late on Friday night. It was grey.
  • Hayfever is a curse this weekend. Eva from Rolo Tomassi, Chris Casey of Mutiny Within and half of Thrash Hits have all been stricken with the polleny curse. Boohoo.
  • Sunday: Slash onstage with Motorhead. Lemmy onstage with Slash. That’s what everyone will be talking about in a few hours time.
