My Chemical Romance announce Halloween party at Wembley Stadium

Yeah, that’s not completely true. My Chemical Romance are going to be playing to 85,000 people in Wembley Stadium on 31 October 2010 but they’re not headlining. Not is it a Hallowe’en party. Instead, they’re the pre-match entertainment for an NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. American Football in London. They’re infiltrating!

In a bizarre bit of promo before their fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is released on 22 November 2010, they will be playing ‘Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)’ (which has 22 Nas in total, if you care to count them) and ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’. As they’re the only band playing, however, you could still say they’re the headline band at Wembley Stadium.

If you want to buy tickets to watch beefy men running into each other while not catching eggs, go and spend £100 at Ticketmaster.co.uk. You probably shouldn’t get dressed up for Hallowe’en if you go. You’ll get roughed up by jocks or something.
