As I Lay Dying, the somewhat surprisingly successful San Diego metalcore mob, wrapped up their recent UK tour last night in Sheffield. They’d been bouncing across the UK for a week or so, with their fellow Californians, Suicide Silence, and those German chestbangers, Heaven Shall Burn, in tow as support.
Our photographer, Gary Wolstenholme, was on hand at the Sheffield Corporation to take loads of photos of Heaven Shall Burn’s identical shirts, and Suicide Silence’s Mitch Lucker’s improbably tight jeans. He also got a fair few shots of As I Lay Dying frontman, Tim Lambesis, showing off his gunshow to the audience. Maybe he’s thinking of taking his obsession with The Governator to the next level? We await with baited breath.
