Lamb Of God
ETA late 2011
What they’re saying:
Mark Morton has said some stuff on his Twitter about recording in summer 2011, way back in January 2010 Chris Adler spoke to SPIN and said:
“We’re going to be touring again for the first half of the year, so the plan is to lock ourselves away with our families starting in September or October when the touring ends. Then, in the beginning of 2011, the band will get back together and see if we can come up with anything.”
And Wikipedia says:
“In a September 2010 interview, drummer Chris Adler mentioned that Lamb of God will enter the studio in February 2011 to begin work on a seventh album. In November, Chris also mentioned that the band will work with producer Josh Wilbur again.”
So that’s that.
Thrash Hits verdict:
It might take until the end of 2011 or even the start of 2012 before we see the new LoG album but by the looks of it, they’re happier to take their time over it and as long as we get fresh riffs and the most face-meltingly heavy album yet, we don’t mind. Have you ever wondered what you would do if your face actually started melting while listening to heavy metal. It would be weird.
