Jus’ sayin’. It also turns out that The Darkness will be playing as the Friday night sub-headliner to Def Leppard. Who on Earth could’ve seen that coming?
In addition to The Darkness, Download Festival has also confirmed Funeral For A Friend, Kvelertak, Framing Hanley, Plain White T’s, and Hyro Da Hero have been added to the bill. That makes this announcement at least 50% awesome, and 50% meh. We’ll leave you to guess which bands in that cluster have gotten our festival juices flowing, and which ones have left us limp like a plate of chips left out in the rain.
Watch Raz shooting the shit with the mighty Kvelertak at Sonisphere 2010:
Tickets for Download Festival 2011 are on sale now through the festival’s official website, starting at £145 and rising depending on what package you buy, and what booking fees The Man likes to slap on these days. Download Festival is – as -always – taking place at Donington Park, and this year the festival is taking place over the weekend of 10-12 June.
