Ahh, Fenriz. When he isn’t pottering about in his tiny little flat in Oslo, or making Darkthrone records, or refusing to play live, or silently facepalming at the antics of Nocturno Culto, or talking up metal bands you’ve never heard of, then he’s making heavy metal mistapes based on his DJ sets at Metal Merchants festival. And as of today, you can download the second of these mixes for FREE.
Thanks to this post over on Vice, we’ve learnt that we can download these mixes for FREE. As the man himself explains:
“Metal Merchants festival in Oslo keeps on giving, and it seems it will happen YET AGAIN – and for the Live Evil festival in October I’ve chosen two bands that convinced me to put them on after I saw them live at MMs. And so, as the first part of my DJ set from the first Metal Merchants festival HAS been unleashed here already, it’s only fair that NOW COMES PART TWO. It’s no longer a private compilation, now all you punters and all-round GEEZERS can hear it as well. Heavy metal never left, Baby!!!”
