It’s the second time today we’re hawking electronic-tinged music with a Deftones connection – although this time it’s a Dillinger Escape Plan remix. In order to mark them finally getting a proper website together, The Dillinger Escape Plan are giving away a remix of ‘Black Bubblegum’ by ex-Quicksand bassist and Chi Cheng stand-in, Sergio Vega.

You know when we warned you earlier that the ††† EP sounded nothing like Deftones or Far? Well, this little remix ain’t sounding much like “standard” DEP either. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

There’s all sorts of other sexy business happening on The Dillinger Escape Plan’s fancy new website too – click here and check it out. We really, really, really wish we could justify sinking $45 into that Party Smasher Plaid shirt. Yeah, yeah, hipster-tastic. WHATEVER.

The Dillinger Escape Plan return to the UK this week to headline the Saturday night at Hevy Festival 2011 (as well as a handful of their own headline shows). Tickets for Hevy are are on sale now through the festival’s official website for just £89 (plus all the usual fees). The festival is taking place once again at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, starting this year on Friday 05 August through to Monday 08 August. Details of The Dillinger Escape Plan’s headlining shows can be found on their swish new website.
