Cyvoid, the somewhat sci-fi obsessed crossover thrash supergroup formed out of the charred remains of Send More Parmedics and the still-living forms of The Plight, Antares and End To Empires, are going on a short 5-date tour of the UK this week, kicking off in Birmingham tomorrow night, and finishing up on Saturday with a hometown show in Leeds.
We put Cyvoid under our Future Hits spotlight back in May after they impressed us with their self-titled debut EP, which combined some thick-set thrash with some suitably future-fearing lyrics inspired by the pessimistic side of classic sci-fi. We’re sure they’ll have a few copies of it on their merch stand at these upcoming shows, so make sure you bring a bit of spare change along to pick up a copy.

Most of these shows are dirt cheap too – Birmingham will set you back £4, Basingstoke and Stoke a mere £3, and Bath and Leeds will both being free. The Leeds show is a house show however – you’ll need to sign up to its Facebook Event page and message the organisers if you want to know the location – so donations will be being collected for Cyvoid and the other bands playing.
