We know that large portions of you expect us to write a snide and piss-taking intro paragraph to go with Gary Wolstenholme’s excellent photographs from Black Veil Brides’ show at the Manchester Academy 2 last week. But a band’s willingness to take the piss out of themselves and/or Thrash Hits when we put them in front of a video camera goes an awful long way when it comes to getting in our collective good books. Especially after they helped turn Raz into a minor meme.
Compounding this is the fact that My Passion were the main support act on this tour. Surely another shoe-in for a guaranteed Thrash Hits ridiculing, right? Well, to be honest, no. That Mike Patton interview they did with us a few years back still earns them something of a free pass.
