When Amplifier gave us our first taste of their latest album The Octopus, live in London earlier this summer, it’d be fair to say that they blew more than a fair few of our collective tits off. Well, there’s going to be a whole raft of new opportunities for Amplifier to blow an entire nations imaginary mammaries away over the next two weeks, as Amplifer are heading out on a UK tour from tomorrow night.

In support on all dates will be Mojo Fury, who despite their lack of eggnog experience, are brave enough to have booked themselves 49 shows before the end of March next year. That’s some pretty damn intense scheduling.

Watch some footage from Amplifier’s May 2011 tour and see what you’ll miss if you skip this tour:

The tour kicks off tomorrow night in Nottingham, but over the course of eight dates they’ll be bringing their progressive stylings to audiences up and down the length of Great Britain. Well, not the Welsh. Or anyone in Scotland outside of easy commuting distance with Glasgow.

Amplifier December 2011 tourdates
04 Nottingham Rock City
05 Glasgow Cathouse
06 York Duchess
07 Wolverhampton Slade Rooms
08 Colchester Arts Centre
09 London Islington Academy
11 Manchester Academy 3
12 Bristol Fleece

You can buy tickets in all the usual places, but Amplifier have put handy ticket links for every show over on their website. That’ll save you a few seconds of needless Googling.
