Thrash Hits 2011 Albums of the Year

The Thrash Hits Top 20 Albums of 2011 list has been unveiled. You can read the comprehensive list for yourself but despite having polled all of our writers, photographers, and contributors, we haven’t polled you yet. So have your say.

If your favourite album of 2011 isn’t even in our Top 20 just leave it in a comment below. That’s if the shame of having an opinion totally different to ours doesn’t cause you to run into the wilderness armed only with some better music and a stick.

We’ve got a few auxiliary lists to come which may help shed more light on who made what decisions and might explain why Lulu and Gold Cobra didn’t make it in.

I propose that Brontide’s Sans Souci is ‘Metal Enough’.

You’re not wrong but you’re also the only person talking about how metal any of the albums are or are not.

I suggest you get that chip off your shoulder, kiddo, and just be happy listening to good music!

It’s ok but it’s not as good as Touche Amore (which didn’t even make it on), which in turn is not as good as Bastions.

        You love Bastions, right, Roy?

I was a big fan of Dir En Grey’s Dum Spiro Spero which is probably my ‘Metal Album of 2011′. However, Turbowolf totally win ‘Rock Album of 2011′.
