Jona Weinhofen took a break from getting his bum out to answer a few Christmas questions for us on behalf of Bring Me The Horizon. He’s a total spoilsport when it comes to nativity plays. Just be a bit of straw or something, dude.

What is your favourite Christmas song?
‘And So This Is Christmas’ by John Lennon. [AKA ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over)’ by John Lennon and Yoko Ono – Ed].

What is your favourite Christmas movie?
Elf.

What is the most metal Christmas present you’ve either given or received?
Probably my first Ibanez guitar when I was 16.

What is your best memory of 2011?
Winning Kerrang award for Best Album.

What is your favourite album of 2011?
Immanu El – In Passage.

What will your New Year Resolution be?
To be more proactive with animal rights.

If all those mad prophecies about 2012 being the end of the world comes true, how do you want the apocalypse to manifest itself?
I think it’s not necessarily going to mean the destruction of humankind, the prophecy states the end of the world ‘as we know it’. I think it means that technology will somehow be destroyed and basically we will be reset back into the Dark Ages. Either that or a plague to balance out human population?

What role would you take in a nativity play?
As I’m somewhere between agnostic and athiest I’d probably be the guy in the audience not believing the stories being portrayed.

2011 has been a year of revolution and upheaval – what do you think will happen in 2012?
Hopefully more positive things will occur. Would be nice to see USA chill out on the whole ‘war’ thing.

Who is the ugliest person you’ve kissed under the mistletoe?
I don’t think I’ve ever done that. I guess I’d only kiss my girlfriend, but she is the opposite of ugly!

What do you think of Lulu?
What’s a Lulu?

y u no know tallica meme
