Sunday Slaylist: The Best of 2011

December 11th, 2011 · No Comments

Spotify 2011 end of year Thrash Hits

By now you’ve had the chance to read all of our contributors’ choices when it came to selecting the Thrash Hits Top 20 Albums of 2011. We daresay you’ve not heard all of them though – after all, our contributors named over 90 records when polled them to find out their favourite releases of the last twelve months. That’s where this week’s Slaylist comes in.

We’ve tried to put something from all of our contributors’ Top 10 lists into this week’s Slaylist – it clocks in at a whopping 60 tracks long – so you can sample as much of our favourite 2011 releases as possible. While it’s probably not a good idea to try to digest it all in one sitting, this is a perfect excuse for you to subscribe to the Slaylist and revisit it again later, right?

Listen to our Sunday Slaylist: The Best of 2011

Spotify is available to most of Western Europe and the USA for free – though obviously you’re better off shelling out either £5 or £10 a month for one of Spotify’s premium packages, as then you can listen to our Slaylists without having them interrupted by adverts. For our readers in countries not currently serviced by Spotify….sorry.

‘The Facts’ by Trap Them (c/o Brooklyn Vegan) - because Prosthetic Records releases aren’t on Spotify.

You want even more lists? Go check out the Thrash Hits Top 20 Albums of 2011, and then maybe cast your vote in the poll to tell us what YOUR favourite album of 2011 is.
