How’s about this for a bit of a pre-Christmas treat. The chaps over at Noisey dropped us an email the other day alerting us to a couple of videos they shot with one of our favourite bands, Turbowolf, when the band hit London last month as part of their album launch tour.
Given that we collectively ranked Turbowolf’s self-titled debut album as the 11th Best Album of 2011, it’s a good time to look back at some of the reasons why we’ve talked up this band for so long. Check it out:
There are other videos of the boys from the ‘wolf getting up to japes in London over on Noisey’s website – go check them out if the one above has tickled your fancy. Noisey is Vice Magazine’s online music portal thing that they fund with some money they hustled off Dell and Intel. If any large, multinational technology companies with urges to to throw large, multinational wads of cash at Thrash Hits are reading this, please direct your attention to our Contact page.

As you’re now no doubt aware, Turbowolf’s self-titled debut album is out now on Hassle Records, and if you haven’t got a copy already, now’s a great time to buy one for yourself as an early Christmas present. Hey! You could even buy one as a gift for that last person on your Christmas gift list who’s normally an absolute pain to pick out a present for. That’s a great idea. You’re far too late to buy it online and have it delivered before December 25, but if you get up from your computer and walk down to one of those things your Dad calls a “record shop”, you might still be able to pick up a copy.
