Oh, and At The Drive-In have reformed.

Because, y’know, everyone’s got bills to pay. In a brief “statement” over on their official website, the much-lauded, oft-overrated-by-people-who-never-actually-saw-them-play-live band said the following:

“Attention! To whom it may concern: At The Drive-IN will be breaking their 11 year silence. This station is…now…operational.”

That’s it. Nothing more yet. Carry on as you were. We’re sure we (and many others) will have a great old time reliving how disappointing it was to be 17 again when At The Drive-in inevitably play at Coachella, some secret show or another at SxSW, and then headline the second stage at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festivals, but for now, we can’t really be bothered to try to pad out ATD-I’s hype-building exercise into a longer article. OH WELL.

I am in a complete state of disbelief about cunts who are so utterly insufferable in life that they have to shit on a celebration like this. So WHAT if I haven’t seen them in person you hipster subhuman? Has your fucking useless ass ever seen the Beatles? No? Does that somehow invalidate your love for them? (assuming you have any taste at all in that woefully inadequate sack of shit you call a brain) No? DIDN’T THINK SO.
So yeah, keep writing shitty pompous articles to boost your pathetically low levels self esteem. Asshole.

P.S. My seventeenth year on earth was bitchin’, even though I had to deal with a lot of problems at home. Just one of the many differences I can already gather between you and I.

And FYI, hype can occasionally be warranted. This is one of those times. Pitchfork Media called. They asked for the crap of the crop, shittiest music journalist they could find. You might want to consider taking them up on that offer. Peace.
