32 years ago today, Bon Scott, frontman with rock legends AC/DC performed his final ever concert – somewhat sinisterly, the final show of the band’s Highway To Hell tour. Just over three weeks later, on 19 February 1980, Scott would be found dead after suffocating on his own vomit, following a night of drinking at The Music Machine (a club/venue that went on to become The Camden Palace, and is now KOKO).

With today being the anniversary of Scott’s final show, we’re revisiting the final ever live video shot of AC/DC before his tragic death.

This isn’t footage from the final show that Scott played (which was at The Gaumont Theatre, Southampton), but rather that of the band’s show at the Pavillon de Paris in Paris, on 09 December 1979. This would later be released as AC/DC: Let There Be Rock – The Movie, and we’ve chosen to revisit the title track (which also happens to be the final song from the recording) to remember the band’s former frontman.

AC/DC are currently kicking back following the completion of their 2-year, 168-show Black Ice world tour. At the time of writing, nobody knows when – or dare we even whisper it, if – there will ever be another AC/DC album or tour.
