Ghostfest has confirmed that the second of their 2012 acts will be The Black Dahlia Murder – Trevor Strnad and co join a bill that already consists of Emmure (the festival’s other headliner), Comeback Kid, All Shall Perish, Defeater, our old friends TRC, and a whole load more bands besides.

Also announced today are No Turning Back, The Bridal Procession, Last Witness, Martyr Defiled, Desolated, Astroid Boys and Heavy Hands. We could also go through every other act that’s previously been announced, but instead we’re just going to post the current line-up poster. Is that good with everyone? Cool.

Anyway, we’re taking the announcement of The Black Dahlia Murder’s headline spot as more than enough of an excuse for us to re-post our excruciating interview with the band’s frontman, Trevor Strnad, from when the band last toured the UK. We really should know better by now than to ask our Twitter and Facebook followers to suggest interview questions…

Tickets for Ghostfest 2012 are on sale now for through a number of outlets – check the festival’s official website for more details. They’ll set you back £25 for a day ticket, or just £35 if you buy a weekend ticket, although obviously there’s also the usual ticket fee nonsense to pay on top of that. As always, Ghostfest takes place at Leeds University, and this year it takes place over the weekend of Saturday 30 June and Sunday 01 July.
