When Brighton metalcore-ish types, Architects, went on tour across the UK earlier this month, we didn’t just have one photographer covering it. Oh no. We had two. In the first batch of shots we’ve got from the tour, we’re bringing you the snaps taken by the mighty Gary Wolstenholme, from when the tour rolled in to the Sheffield Corporation.
Given that the main support on the tour came from perennial Thrash Hits favourites, Rolo Tomassi, (with Stray From The Path taking up the no.3 spot), we figure that a bit of photo-overkill is justified. Anyway, stop reading our yapping and go check out Gary’s sweet photos – which when you take into account the fact that the Corporation’s lightiong rig was playing silly buggers throughout the gig, are even more impressive than Gary’s usual high levels of quality.
We’ll be posting our second set of photos from this tour later today. Architects’ new album, Daybreaker, is due out on 28 May via Century Media. Rolo Tomassi are due to head into the studio next month to get to work on their as-yet-untitled third full-length studio album, which is currently pegged for release sometime this Autumn.
