Well, it’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here – episode 001 of the Thrash Hits podcast. Recorded deep down in the bowels of Thrash Hits HQ – which bear a striking resemblance to one of our front rooms – our first podcast sees Thrash Hits’ editors, Raziq Rauf and Hugh Platt, dissecting the Download Festival 2012 line-up.
We take a look at the buzz bands, the controversial bookings, as well as selecting our personal picks from the line-up, as well as the bands you’re better off grabbing a beer/plate of bad festival noodles/toilet break during. You’ll also get to hear Raz’s Arnold Schwarzenegger impression, and Hugh use the word “obviously” far too many times in the space of 30 minutes.
Since this is our first time podcasting, we’d really like to get your feedback on this one, so please take a moment to send us your thoughts via email, by posting a comment down below, or by bellowing at us over Facebook or Twitter. We’ve already got a lot of plans and ideas for the future, but hey, we want your input too.
The Thrash Hits podcast will be back after Download, where we’ll be offering up our thoughts on this year’s festival, and whether or not any of the bands we talk about live up to or failed to meet expectations we talked about this week. And whether or not any bands actually punched us in the face or not.
