Damnation Festival have announced another three bands for November – influential crust/grind pioneers, Extreme Noise Terror, blakened death metal beasts, Belphegor, and fresh-faced progressive-hardcore types, Devil Sold His Soul. Both Extreme Noise Terror and Belphegor join the Terrorizer Stage line-up, where Belphegor will be playing their only UK show of 2012. DSHS take a spot on the not-quite-so-kvltish Jägermeister Stage.
Check out the updated line-up poster below, and ask yourself why you haven’t bought a ticket to Damnation Festival yet. You better have a good excuse, because damn is that not one sweet heavy bastard of a line-up. It’s a killer line-up even by Damnation’s own high standards.
Today’s trio of bands join the previously announced line-up of Electric Wizard, Pig Destroyer, Primordial, My Dying Bride, Aura Noir, Textures, Bossk, Gama Bomb, 40 Watt Sun and Wodensthrone on the bill of this year’s festival. Tickets for Damnation 2012 are on sale now, an will only set you back £32 (plus all the usual fees). As usual, the festival takes place in the gloomy maze that is Leeds University’s Student Union, and this year will take place on Saturday 03 November.
