Sunday Slaylist: Hevy Festival 2012

Hevy Festival 2012 Thrash Hits

We were half tempted to make a sports-themed Slaylist this week – what with the Olympics kicking off in our home city of London and all that – but then we realised that other than ‘Running Free’ and a handful of other tracks, we’d really be scraping the barrel when it came to coming up with valid tracks for it. So instead we fell back on an old favourite: the festival Slaylist. Given that Hevy Festival 2012 is a mere five days away, it was the obvious candidate.

Given that this year’s Hevy Festival has one of the strongest line-ups of any festival this summer (if you haven’t already, go download the latest episode of the Thrash Hits Podcast, where we explain why we think that), we had no choice but to turn in a monster 3 hour + beast of a Slaylist. This one’s a bit of a beast.

Spotify is available to most of Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the USA for free – though obviously you’re better off shelling out either £5 or £10 a month for one of Spotify’s premium packages, as then you can listen to our Slaylists without having them interrupted by adverts. For our readers in countries not currently serviced by Spotify….sorry.

You really should’ve sorted out your Hevy Festival ticket by now if you’re planning on going, but tickets are still available for any of you lazy bones who still haven’t gotten around to it. Weekend Tickets will set you back £96 (plus all the usual bullshit fees and so on), and are available to buy here.
