Do you like puppets? Do you like creepy weird videos with creepy weird colours? Do you like wonky-in-the-best-way mathcore? Then you should probably check out the new video from those noisy Sheffield lot, Rolo Tomassi, then shouldn’t you?
Watch it. Don’t come crying to us if you start having weird creepy nightmares though.
The track is the first single to be taken from Astraea, Rolo Tomassi’s third studio album that’s due for release on the band’s own label, Destination Moon, on 05 November 2012. Given how much we liked Hysterics and Cosmology, to say that we’re a little excited about the new Rolo Tomassi album is a bit of an understatement. Given the album will be the first featuring Chris Cayford and Nathan Fairweather on guitar and bass respectively (having replaced former members Joe Nicolson and Joseph Thorpe), we’re even more intrigued to find out how Rolo Tomassi have developed this time around.
Prior to releasing their new album, Rolo Tomassi are hitting the road for a brief UK tour. They’ve promised more new material will get an airing on these dates, so if you’re anything like us, you’ll be booking your tickets pretty sharpish. Given that support comes c/o Oathbreaker and former Future Hits alumni, Goodtime Boys, you’d be an idiot not to get down to these shows early doors, too.
