Okay, we’re kind of assuming that Rammstein would be in a headline spot – there’s nothing on their Facebook page that says that they’re 100% guaranteed to be topping the bill. But given the size of the band – and their monstrous stage production – we’re pretty sure that’s the only slot they’d take. Not to mention the enormous cost that shipping such a production over to the UK costs – we’d be very surprised if Download Festival was willing to shell out that level of £££ unless it was paying for a headline set.
Download Festival are set to officially announce their “first” headline act tonight at 6pm. From what we’ve heard, it wasn’t going to be Rammstein. Be interesting to see if it stays that way after this….
