Vintage (live) Video: The Dismemberment Plan – The Ice Of Boston

The Dismemberment Plan live Thrash Hits

It’s the last day of the year, and as far as 2012 is concerned, we are done and dusted. And unless you’re a moron of truly terminal proportions, you’ll also be aware that it’s New Year’s Eve today. While there’s plenty of Christmas-themed metal out there, there’s precious little when it comes to New Year-themed rock. Basically there are crap covers of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ and this – ‘The Ice Of Boston’.

And yeah, plenty of The Dismemberment Plan’s material isn’t exactly Thrash Hits-level heavy, but hey, if it’s good enough for Valient Himself’s Rocknowledgy, then it’s good enough for us. And it is an awesome song about New Year’s Eve, after all.

Happy New Year, everyone. We’ll see you in 2013 – the last twelve months have been our biggest and best so far, but we’ve got even bigger plans for the year ahead. It is the year we turn five, after all…..
