They previewed it over on Sirius XM radio in America last night, but it’s only in the last few hours that it’s made its way online - ‘Prancer’, the first new song to be taken from The Dillinger Escape Plan’s forthcoming Xth album, One Of Us Is The Killer, has arrived.

On first listen we’re definitely picking up some serious Miss Machine vibes off ‘Prancer’, but with a thicker, more intense kind of song-structure behind it. Goddamn, we were excited about this album already. Goddamn, we’re even more excited about it now.

The Dillinger Escape Plan will release One Of Us Is The Killer through their own Party Smasher label on 14 May 2013, partnering with a number of labels throughout the world: Sumerian Records in the USA, Grindhouse in Japan, Remote Control in Australia, and with BMG everywhere else. You can already pre-order it from the band’s webstore in a whole heap of different merch combos, but unless you live in Stateside you might want to hold off ordering until a UK and.or EU store opens up. Those prices look a lot more expensive once you figure in the transatlantic shipping costs.
