Although they’re forced to call themselves “Ghost B.C” in America now, here in the UK the Jägermeister Music Tour is still headlined by a band called Ghost. There’s no legal issues so far as we or anyone else we know can think of regarding Gojira and The Defiled being forced to use different name when stateside, so how about we cut all this introductory chit-chat and get right to the photos, okay?
Our man Gary Wolstenholme was on hand when the tour kicked off in Sheffield to get some snaps of Papa Emeritus II and his gang of nameless ghouls. He also got some fierce snaps of Gojira, The Defiled, and Heights, who were the opening band at Sheffield – there’s a different local band opening proceedings at every show on the tour.
There are still three shows left on the Jägermeister Music Tour 2013, so if you fancy a bit of Ghost, Gojira and The Defiled, you’re still in with a chance, assuming you live close to Bournemouth, Birmingham or London. We’re going to be at the London show and we can’t wait.
Jägermeister Music Tour 2013 dates:
22 Bournemouth O2 Academy
23 Birmingham O2 Academy
24 London Brixton O2 Academy
Tickets are still available for these shows direct from Kilimanjaro, and will set you back next to nothing, as Jägermeister have gone and subsidised ticket prices across the entire tour. Which is nice of them.
