Enter Shikari at New Brighton Pavilion - 15 April 2013 by Matt Thomas

We’ve talked about how punk rock Enter Shikari are before. Right now they could be playing massive venues, raking in the cash, and generally have a bloody nice time of it being the world premier whatever-you’re-calling-it-this-week-core banbut-it’s-got-lasers-and-electronics-core band. But instead, they’re off playing deliberately much smaller venues than usual, just because they bloody want to. That’s how our photographer, Matt Thomas, was able to get so up close and personal with the action when they played the New Brighton (not near the Brighton you’re probably thinking of) Pavilion last week.

Playing in support were Hacktivist, a band we’ve almost gone out of our way not to cover on Thrash Hits, and Baby Godzilla, who we sent a Future Hits interview to aaagggeeesss ago and who never got back to us. But hey, go look at Matt’s photos of them anyway.

Enter Shikari are still on tour across the UK right now, still playing venues much smaller than they usually do. If you haven’t got tickets to one of the remaining dates, well, good luck getting one now. Most of these are sold out, but for the few that aren’t you should be able to get tickets from the usual places. You can Google, right? You don’t need us to link everything.
